The remarkable thing about baby Guinea Pigs is when they are born their hearing and sight is fully developed including a full coat of hair. Only after a few hours they start to learn how to run. They have full working teeth and only their back molars need to break through. In the wild this is very advantageous to their survival.
When born the average weight is 1.5 to 4 ounces. If it is a singular birth they have a tendency to weigh more as opposed to multiple birth babies, but this occurrence is very rare. For their first few days, if you weigh them, it should reflect a constant weight or can sometimes drop a quarter ounce. Healthy youngsters from that point on will steadily show a daily weight gain of approximately 1/8 of an ounce. It is a good idea to start weighing them as soon as possible, as their weight can be an indication of their health.
During the first few days of their lives, in addition to their mothers milk, they start to eat solid foods. You might see your baby eating the feces of their mother, however this is normal behavior and a natural requirement of certain vitamins for their growth.

First, they will drink less water due to the bad taste, and secondly, they won’t recieve the needed vitamin c. To fix this you should feed your Guinea Pigs fresh, green, leafy vegetables daily along with the regular “guina pig food” pellets that you can purchase from a local pet supply store. Vegetable like kale and romaine lettuce have plenty of vitamin c and they will do much to maintain Guinea Pig Health. They will love the variety of different green food and see it as a treat. This can be a little bonding ritual you do with guinea pig that will build trust. Since their teeth and claws grow constantly they will require a gnawing stick and frequent nail clippings. If left unchecked long claws can really affect the health of your guinea pig by picking up dirty material from their cage and digging in to their paws. You can use a fruit tree branch as a gnawing stick or buy an untreated wooden block from a pet store.

I can’t buy one online because I don’t have a credit card but I can’t think of any stores that I have seen selling them. Carrot cake is deceiving because it “sounds” healthy. Actually its loaded with fat and sugar! An alternative would be a nice batch of oatmeal cookies made with brown or turbinado sugar and applesauce. For a special treat, add raisens and then dip each cookie in melted chocolate.

Who can help me save the one or two small mice?
our previous house owner or some one else put the mice in our home. The mice live more than 10 years ago.Now, we have small children and I get very tire. our parents want to get them out and they will be die in the garbage car. I don’t want to them be dead. I got bullied when i was in greade 7-8, but after high school everything is fine. No one bullies me, i have friends. But i still feel depressed all the time, and it is causing me to have digestion issues which leads to other thins eg weight lost. HOw can i relief depression?? I am in grade 10 now, i play on my high school basketball team, and i am pretty active. But everything just frustrads me sometimes, and my digestion is reall bad. what can i do?

I’m looking for a healthy treat I could eat every week when I watch Lost.
Normally I buy a 3-pack of pizzas for $10 (for savings), but they are 1200 calories each, and expire in 2 weeks. So basically I gotta eat all 3 in 14 days instead of once a week. And 3600 calories.
Any better idea?

Water Bottle
How to keep water in bottles from tasting like the bottle?
Every time I see my mom, she brings tap water from her house to give to me, as I like her water better than the tap water here or at the store. She puts it in empty water bottles, obviously, but I can’t store the water too long in there or it tastes like the bottle, which is gross. Does anyone have an idea how I can store the water for a while without it getting that bottle taste?
We usually combat that by keeping the water cold, usually when the water gets warmer it tastes like the bottle.
