Can I double the dosage of advantage for larger dogs?
My friend gave me her small dogs advantage for fleas. It is for dogs 10lbs and under. My dog is 20lbs. Can I just use two tubes instead of the one for my dog since its double the size?
No- the active ingredient is at a certain strength. Doubling the amount applied will not give the same results as using the proper application.

We have a rat in a cage and have just got a rabbit that will stay in its own hutch. Can we put the rat and rabbit together in the hutch without any problems?

Cage Set
What are people opinions on the best cage set up to use when my beardie gets older?
He is currently in a smaller tank, he is only 5 inches now. I know I will need to upgrade real soon. Im starting to look for a tank to get now. What are some ideas? I want the best environment for him! I even thought of a home made cage. My dad made me one for my big iguanna, but he doesnt have the ability to make another one. Think floor space. They do climb, but usually only a few inches off the ground. They are happy ground dwellers.
Three feet square is a good size for an adult dragon. Put the heat lamp and UV lights at one corner so that there is a super warm spot, and a super cool spot on opposite ends of the enclosure. That way he can pick a place and be comfy.

Harness Leash
Is leaving a cat outdoors on a harness and leash viable?
We’ve got a year-old male cat, and we’ve been experiencing a lot of trouble with him peeing all over our house. He doesn’t use his litter box, no matter what kind of litter we use (we prefer the wood-chip kind). If my fiance had it his way, he would just throw the cat outside and leave him to his devices, but I am not okay with that, so we were thinking that maybe using a harness and leash might work. Is this a good idea, and if not, for what reasons?
I dont know it sounds ok but the leash has to be short enough where he cant climb something and then accidently hang himself but long enough for him to explore…it might drive him crazy..

Im not sure…I have 2 cats..both brothers and I recently got a new dog. The dog isn’t even that big its medium size and they stil hate her! Its been almost 2 months now and i feel so bad. I feel like Im really forcing the dog into there lives and the house. I cats may resent me for it. I have thought a lot about giving the dog up and I still might. Maybe if your dog has a fenced in yard you can always put it out real quick if things get heated. I don’t have a fenced in yard and I wish I did, I think it would help a lot…hope i helped.

Is it REALLY! okay to feed my hamster rat/mouse food cuz petsmart gave me rat food at first and Im still not?
ok so im going to vacation soon and its kinda last minute and im letting someone take care of my hamster for a week and Im about to run out is it okay to feed him rat/mouse food because i have a huge bag and i dunno wat to do!
Its fine, hamsters, rats, and mice can basically eat the same stuff. most of the time, bigger animals like rats and hamsters have bigger chunkier food than mice, but it should be fine. your hampster will most likely love the corn kernels, sunflower seeds, and other stuff in rodent food.

Harness Lead
Does a TBI engine wiring harness include a lead to the in tank fuel pump or is that a chassis wiring issue.?
I want to install a TBI v8 into my 85 Carbureated s10, and I wanted to know if the fuel pump has a wire lead from the engine computer wiring harness to power the fuel pump. I want to keep the fuel system as factory as possible. I will probably get the wiring harness from a later TBI blazer, and just wanted to know about the fuel pump.

Bed Cat Dog
How can I make the cat give the dog the new ‘dog bed’?
I had a small bed for the cat and they both used it. I got a bigger bed for the dog and the cat has taken it over. My dog respects the cat as alpha and tries to lay in this tiny little bed that he can hardly fit in while the cat strecthes out in the bigger bed. It is humorous, but can I fix this?>
I think you’re going to have to get another bed just like the new one. The cat can’t lie in two at the same time. It is pretty funny, I can see exactly how it happens. You might try just removing the cat anytime you see it in the dog’s bed and then encourage the dog to lie in it but I’m not sure that will work. Cats can be very determined. Is it possible that the cat just likes the cover on the dog bed? Maybe you just need some fabric like the kind on the dog bed to tempt the cat away from it and lie somewhere else.

Harness Leash
How do you train a rat to use a leash/harness?
My rats have this rodent harness/leash that is designed for rats, and for some reason they hate to have it on or to be put on the ground. Is there any way to train them to use it?
And actually, Sophieb, it was fleas and humans that caused the plague. Aslo you’re thinking of wild rats that carry dieases, not pet rats.

What kind of cat food is best to feed a medium sized dog?
I have a Basenji that weighs 15 pounds, hes is visibly underweight.
He doesn’t eat any type of dry dog food and the wet dog food gives him diarrhea.
He seems to really enjoy cat food & I have read that dogs are actually carnavores and that it would be ok to feed a dog cat food becuase he needs the protein and fat at this point. Any suggestions of a good brand?

What type of small pet should I get to fit my lifestyle?
I just moved into an apartment (from parents house). I am at home very other weekend. The weekends I am gone I am visiting my boyfriend. I would like to get a small pet (rat mouse gerbil hamster). I do work and go to school during the day. I come home to an empty apartment and was thinking of getting a small pet to come home to. given my current lifestyle which type of pet should I get if any at all? Will this pet be okay to stay alone over a weekend without any attention? how many should I get, two to keep each other company durign the day and weekend. what type of cage is recommended.
I have always wanted rats but not sure if they are suited for my lifestyle. please help give me some advice to make my decision.
