Chinchilla Rabbit Rat
What other pets can live in the same cage, or play with, Degu, Rat, Chinchilla, Dwarf Rabbit, or Guinea Pig?
If I do get a pet soon, I would like to let them out to play with each other (altough if they shoulkd have a friend of the same species in the cage, like rats do, and chinchillas, ect, then I would deffinatly get a friend for them)
So what pets would play with (out of their cages) or live with (same cage all the time) any of the following: Degu, Rat, Chinchilla, Dwarf Rabbit, Guinea Pig? Thank-you
Honestly it is best if they don’t all play together or live in the same cages together. They would have had to be in the same cage from when they were really little to mix them. It would be best if you only get the same species in the same cage and if you might make sure you watch all of them playing together outside the cage, but honestly I wouldn’t because they might all fight with each other.

Whats a good name for a chinchilla guinea pig ?
Im getting a new guinea pig and i need a good name for it .
Because its a chinchilla guinea pig its grey like a chinchilla.
I might call it barney because my guinea piggie at the moment is called fred so fred and barney from the flint stones !!!
Barney is cute! I also like Smoky/Smokey. We used to have a cat with that name. Liam?

Rat, Mouse, Gerbil, Chinchilla, Guinea pig, Ferret, Rabbit?!?
I have had many hamsters and 3 Guinea Pigs (I have 2 right now) and I was wondering out of curiosity, which pet do people usually like more out of a Rabbit, Ferret, Mouse, Guinea pig, hamster, chinchilla, rats and gerbils, whta is the sweetest? People always say mice are dumb becuase they dies soon and bite and never let you hold them, and people say that ferrets smell horrible, people say rats and gerbil bite alot also, just give me info about each or the ones you can and tell me which ones are the best/worse and other stuff about the ones you can! THANKS!
I’ve had rats nearly all of my life and they’ve always been the best pet. I’ve tried mice guinneas and they never warmed up to me the way a rat did.

What pet should I get? Chinchilla, Guinea Pig, Rabbit or Ferret?
I’m 15 years old and looking for a pet. I need to decide from Chinchilla, Guinea Pig, Rabbit or Ferret.
I would like a pet that can be litter train as well as they don’t get nervous when I hold them and pet them.
Rabbits or ferrets are the only two of those that you can definitely litter train, and of those ferrets are VERY high maintenance…think more than four hours interaction with them every day, plus feeding, watering and cleaning daily. They are difficult when it comes to litter training them, and even then they arent perfect, they also bite and it can take a year to train them not to. if you want a litter trainable animal, I’d choose a pair of rabbits…they are social and like company.
