How can I make the cat give the dog the new ‘dog bed’?
I had a small bed for the cat and they both used it. I got a bigger bed for the dog and the cat has taken it over. My dog respects the cat as alpha and tries to lay in this tiny little bed that he can hardly fit in while the cat strecthes out in the bigger bed. It is humorous, but can I fix this?>
I think you’re going to have to get another bed just like the new one. The cat can’t lie in two at the same time. It is pretty funny, I can see exactly how it happens. You might try just removing the cat anytime you see it in the dog’s bed and then encourage the dog to lie in it but I’m not sure that will work. Cats can be very determined. Is it possible that the cat just likes the cover on the dog bed? Maybe you just need some fabric like the kind on the dog bed to tempt the cat away from it and lie somewhere else.

Humans aren’t the only ones who have to deal with Arthritis. Dogs and cats are both susceptible to it as they age. Arthritis is sometimes caused by infection of the joint, but most likely it’s just due to wear and tear throughout the years. Unfortunately, pets can’t explain their symptoms, which can make it hard to diagnose in the beginning. You may notice some changes in your pet’s behavior but be unsure of the cause. Cage Kit
Chinchilla cage kit- any help?
I was looking at chin cages and then I saw this starter kit. It was called “All Living Things Chinchilla starter kit” Has anybody bought one? Please only answer if you’ve bought it. I’d really like to get it all in one easy package, but is it a good choice?
Chinnys get depressed very easily without their daily get out so the more jumping space they’ve got the better, that means the bigger the better, they’re not like rabbits. They may be the same size and furry but oh the speed, height, and be prepared and chewing. I’d actually suggest you get a joiner in and custom make one floor to ceiling as that was eventually what I had to do anyway having tried various combinations of cages, sandbaths, branches etc.

Cage Kit
When buying a hamster cage is a starter kit a good idea?
The Starter Kit I might get if I get a hamster would have food, water bottle, bedding, food bowl, 2nd level shelf, and a silent hamster wheel for 26$. Is it a good idea or do you think I should get a better cage?
The bedding is CareFresh and the food is Nutriphase Hamster Food
The whole kit sounds great, even the price is very reasonable. My only question is, what kind of bedding is it? If it’s any kind of wood chip (cedar, pine, aspen), I would stay away from it, the dusts and oils (cedar) can cause Upper Repsiratory Infections (which can be fatal). If it has something along the lines of Carefresh, Kaytee Total Comfort, SoftSorbent you should be fine.

How do I get my kittens to sleep on their new cat bed?
When I first got my new kittens,I had this cat bed for my old cat who didn’t use it.The kittens used that bed when they were 6 weeks old and now they’re 9 months old and too big for that bed. My mom got them a much bigger bed for them but they don’t even come near it where the old bed was.So how do I get them to use the new bed?
You can also try putting a little catnip on it, I know that you can rub catnip on a scratching post that you want them to use, so maybe it will work with the bed too?

Ferrets are fury little mammals that are like a stretched out version of a cross between a rabbit and a rat. They are highly playful and curious domesticated animals that provide great companionship for anyone. Many people do however believe that ferrets are rodents like rats and mice, but contrary to this, they are actually in the Mustelid family along with weasels, stoats and martens.
The exact origin and date of domestication of the ferret is unknown, however remains of these cute little animals have been dated back as far as 1500BC, so they are quite a mature species. Ferrets, despite their cute appearance and cheeky nature, were in fact used originally for hunting or also know as ferreting. The ferret was usually used by hunters to chase rabbits and small rodents out of their burrows, however this is now illegal in many countries, but still practiced in the United Kingdom and Australia because this method is still more successful than many of the technologies developed for the same purpose.
Ferrets are more commonly kept as pets, because of their curious and energetic playful nature, they are very similar to kittens that never grow up, which is why they are preferred by many animal lovers. The slight drawback of the ferret is that they tend to nip when they are young, intending it only in a playful manner, but it can get annoying for an owner who does not fully understand their nature. This habit can be eliminated with correct training, and generally dissipates on its own with age. Ferrets have quite a long lifespan, of around 6 to 10 years, but in some cases can live into their teens.
