Bed Guinea

Why does my guinea pig pee on my bed?
Whenever I take my guinea pig out and place her on my bed, she almost immediately pees. However, when she’s out and about on the floor or I’m holding her; she doesn’t pee for like an hour. I just really want to know why she does it. Like is it because it smells like me or something? I read before that Guinea Pigs pee in the sleeping spaces.
She is not trained, that’s why.
Make her go pee pee first, or put her back in her cage after she does that on your bed. Too hard a deal? Just don’t place her on your bed, if she does not behave!

Wood Bird

What are downfalls of bird drilling holes in outside wood siding?
I rent. I told my landlord this morn. What kind of damage will be done? Will the birds bring parasites and/or bugs to me inside. They usually plug these bird holes with ugly orange plugs against dark brown wood siding.
I wouldn’t worry much about the introduction of bugs to your house. A much bigger problem is the introduction of water. Seems like your landlord should be very anxious to avoid that because if water gets into the wall cavities it will encourage rot and could lead to mold problems, both of which could be expensive for him to fix.

Harness Leash

How do you train a rat to use a leash/harness?
My rats have this rodent harness/leash that is designed for rats, and for some reason they hate to have it on or to be put on the ground. Is there any way to train them to use it?
And actually, Sophieb, it was fleas and humans that caused the plague. Aslo you’re thinking of wild rats that carry dieases, not pet rats.
And thanks for the helpful comments on this as well.

Hamster Mouse Mice

Does anybody have any hamster or mouse toys I can make for my 2 mice?
I would like for them to fit inside my cages. (I have Critter Trail 1 and another plastic cage- not sure what it is…)
You can go to any pet store and get toys made for hamsters or ferrets.
You can also get bird toys that hang in the cage. The mice love them and they toys are more durrable than most small animal toys.
There are also a lot of toys that you can home make, like obsitcal courses…using paper towel rolls, spare cloth, random things laying around the house…
A digging box is great for out of the cage…You fill a box with dirt or sand (or shredded paper to keep it from being messy) and hide treats through it….
Mice can make toys out of almost anything…

If i Get A Mouse/Gerbil/Hamster Do i have to get two?
Is there any of the above ^^^^^^ that i can just get one of?
Mice: Mice thrive in communities of up to seven or even more in the same cage, they are extremely social animals that are very active and enjoy each others company.
Gerbils: Gerbils enjoy being in groups of around two or four, they do not fight much and will live together for a long time. (I have a gerbil that is four years old, his friend died in February.)
Hamsters: Syrian hamsters will not tolerate another hamster in their cage, but dwarf hamsters enjoy company.

Dog Cat

What kind of cat food is best to feed a medium sized dog?
I have a Basenji that weighs 15 pounds, hes is visibly underweight.
He doesn’t eat any type of dry dog food and the wet dog food gives him diarrhea.
He seems to really enjoy cat food & I have read that dogs are actually carnavores and that it would be ok to feed a dog cat food becuase he needs the protein and fat at this point. Any suggestions of a good brand?
Thanks

Thank you.
I got my moth traps from walmart but beware when you use them as they have the scent of a female moth on them and the moths can smell it far away i had lots of moths coming from every where when i used them so i dont know if it was worth it

Glider Bonding
Sugar gliders are exotic pets that are relatively easy to care for. However, buying one may not be the best decision for you. There are a few things you need to consider before you make up your mind. This article will share with you a few things you need to consider before you buy a sugar glider.
Care
The most important thing you need to consider is how much care they require. These pets require daily care. This means you need to change their water on a daily basis as well as provide fresh food. Also, they can be pretty messy animals, so you will likely need to clean their cage everyday.

I went outside to see what my cat was doing and it turns out she had a bird in her mouth so my sister took it out and as it turns out the birds foot is almost torn off. Me and my Sis felt bad so we put it in a box with some tissue so it could stay warm, did we do the right thing?

Mouse Small

What is best way to catch a small mouse?
What is this best way to catch a small mouse? I’ve laid down some of those sticky mats for mouse trap but this mouse is too smart for it and runs fast as hell!
Okay when I use the snap trap how would the mouse look like? Would the brains be splatterd all over the wall or something? Whats the result you guys usally get from it?
Use many snap traps! The more the better! Use peanut butter as the bait. Place the traps so that the trigger is facing the wall. Mice run the edges of walls and other structures so they know where they are at all the times. They only run out into the middle of the floor when they are startled by something.

Everyone can orgasm, but not everyone does. As a women it is your duty to educate your self about the mental, physical and just plain FUN aspects of orgasm. And what better month than October for all of us at Passion Parties to declare as National Orgasm Month — after all, it’s the only month with a big “O.”
Orgasm is good for you! In honor of National Orgasm Month, we’re sharing with you ten orgasmic facts you may not have already known…
- Did you know… that wet dreams are involuntary orgasms? While they do happen mostly to younger men, they are possible for both sexes anytime after puberty. Have you ever woken up breathless (but feeling pretty good) after a particularly sexy dream? Chances are you had an orgasm. Now doesn’t that give a whole new meaning to “good night’s sleep?”
- Forget chicken noodle soup and orange juice, to help you fight off the flu or a cold — have an orgasm. According to the findings of psychologists at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania, those who had regular sexual activity had up to 33% higher levels of an immune-boosting antibody called immunoglobulin-A.
- It’s good to be queen… Cleopatra insisted on having at least two orgasms a day.
- Sexologists estimate that at any given second in the United States, approximately 800 men are experiencing orgasm.
- It takes 17 muscles to smile and 116 muscles to climax. Now that’s a workout no one can refuse. You could even say an orgasm exercises 133 muscles – who wouldn’t smile after that kind of exercise?
- Having orgasms increases intimacy. The “cuddling hormone,” also known as oxytocin, is released in the brain and increases feelings of closeness and bonding.
- Having at least one orgasm a week will help you keep your menstrual cycle on track. Research by an endocrinologist showed that women who have regular intercourse or sexual activity have more normal menstrual cycles than women who are celibate or have infrequent sex.
- Orgasm boosts estrogen production which helps your heart function better, lowers bad cholesterol, raises good cholesterol, increases bone density and makes your skin more supple.
- Say goodbye to, “Sorry honey, not tonight… I have a headache.” A study from the Illinois School of Medicine shows that having an orgasm can cure or alleviate headaches and migraines. Almost a third of the study’s participants reported considerable relief after having an orgasm and 15% claimed their headaches went away completely. This is because orgasm releases endorphins — your body’s natural painkillers.

Chinchilla Sugar
Should I get a chinchilla or a sugar glider?
Both are adorable, but I’m looking for a good animal that doesn’t need as much affection as a dog. (I hate cats and birds) Plus, I haven’t done much research and there’s probably multiple differences between both animals.
Sugar Gliders need 4 hours every day, and cost 3 times as much as any regular animal to have cared for at a vet.
They are like having kids.
Unless you have this time, money, and devotion,
Do not get a Sugar Glider.

What Size Cage is Best for My Pigs?
In reality, there is no best size for a guinea pig cage. The simple rule is: the bigger the better. However there are minimum cage-size guidelines that many Guinea Pig Rescue organizations and guinea pig advocacy groups recommend. A quick search on the internet will reveal the following approximate de facto standards for minimum cage sizes:
One guinea pig: 6-7 sq. ft.
Two Guinea Pigs: 7.5 sq. ft.
Three Guinea Pigs: 10.5 sq. ft.
Four guinea pigs: 13 sq. ft.
Because guinea pigs are social creatures, it is recommended to keep a minimum of two guinea pigs together. For this reason, if you want your pigs to enjoy an optimal environment, you need never consider a cage under 7.5 sq. ft.
In general, commercial cages (I like to refer to them as “pet store cages”) tend to be under 3 square-feet. Commercial cages much larger than this are difficult to find and are apt to be quite costly. For this reason, conscientious guinea pig owners tend to gravitate toward a popular class of do-it-yourself or kit cages commonly called C&C or Cubes and Coroplast cages.
