Rat Degu

Can any combination of- Degu, Rat, Chinchilla, Dwarf Rabbit, Guinea Pig- be housed together?
I am thinking of getting pets soon, in addition to my hamster. I have had other pets before now, and can take care of them, and am responsible, ect…
My question is, while I have had many of these pets listed (Degu, Rat, Chinchilla, Dwarf Rabbit, Guinea Pig) at one point or another, I haven’t really considered housing different breeds together until now, so would any of those pets be able to live together? Thank-you
I wouldn’t advise it really. Especially Degu and Rat. Rabbit, chinchilla, g.pig — then maybe.

Rabbit Toys Pet

Will providing enough chewing toys to my pet rabbit stop it from chewing other important stuff?
I keep my rabbit in her cage most of the time. But I allow her to roam about in the house for about an hour each day. It is then that she chews electrical cords, books, cloths etc. If I keep chewing toys in her cage will she stop chewing other stuff when I allow her to come out?
Your rabbit should have a t least 5 hours out each day. What a horrible life being stuck in a cage!!
If you have no garden you still have to do this in the evening if you are out all day. Don’t keep your rabbit confined to her cage just because you cannot be bothered to pick stuff up off t he floor and watch her. You should be bonding with her. I am not having a go at you, this is the only way i can express my feelings for the rabbit and if she can get to items you cannot be being careful enough.

Rabbit Cage

Rabbit cage?
Where can I find a relatively cheap rabbit cage? Do they use shavings like hamsters do? Can you keep it indoors all the time? What do they eat? Where are they supposed to use the bathroom and how can I entertain a rabbit?
I’m thinking of buying one soon.
I have a medium sized dog cage. If I put a litter box with shavings in it as a bed, will that work?
Oh, and I’m not planning on keeping my rabbit outside.

The capital of Western Australia, the wonderfully diverse Perth offers a bouncing nightlife, sun drenched beaches, maritime adventures and much more. It’s the ideal holiday destination for any age, no matter what you’re into. If you can bear the long flight – 12 hours from the UK to Singapore, then 5 more hours onward to Perth – you’ll find a beautiful city and a fantastic holiday waiting to greet you.
Perth has one of the best climates in Australia, with temperatures ranging from 18 to 29 degrees C in the summer, and 8 to 18 in the winter. The Australian summer coincides with the winter in the UK (December to February) so it’s an ideal place to visit if you want to escape the winter blues. Conversely, the mild winters in Perth make it a nice place to visit during the UK summertime if baking heat isn’t your thing.
There is plenty to see and do in and around Perth, as the region combines city, coast and country. The city itself is the place to go for retail therapy; there are dozens of outlet stores and local craft shops interspersed with restaurants and shops offering native cuisine and wines from the many vineyards in the country. The Swan River travels through the heart of the city, providing riparian opportunities for wannabe sailors, canoeists and kite-surfers.

Animal Cage Cages

It probably began in the past when man began to understand the beauty of animals. Coupled with his power over them, he probably decided that he wanted to have the beautiful animals that he had encountered on his hunting trips to be near him. Through the centuries, man has domesticated quite a few animals to serve his needs, and sometimes to serve no need at all. It is one thing to keep an animal nearby to serve one’s needs but it is cruel to want to keep them ‘just for fun’. Hence, keeping animals and birds in cages is quite ridiculous if not cruel.
It is most definitely cruel to keep any animal or bird in captivity; worse still confined in cages. An animal or bird is so carefree in its own environment. It knows of no restrictions. It goes about its own business of eating and drinking and creating babies. Even domestic animals would like to walk about and act according to their instincts and desires. Caging them would deprive them of this. How often have we seen caged animals pacing their cages in futile attempts to escape? Can we imagine the frustration that they feel? What do we get in making a creature furious, frustrated and depressed? Yet humans do it all the time. Since we would think it cruel if someone were to cage us, it stands to reason that we should not do it to others, even animals and birds. The sense of justice we hold so dear when it comes to humans should be extended to all living creatures.
Besides being cruel, it serves little purpose to want to cage animals and birds. Wild animals and birds being caged up serve our egoistic pleasure of power over others and that’s about all that we do. Cultivating such natures does not do us any good; actually developing such natures will make us cruel and egoistic. Left in the wild a bird does all sorts of things; when kept in the cage, it just sits there. Granted that birds are beautiful to look at, we cannot observe the bird at its best when it is caged. To watch the bird at its best we should go to its habitat. Caging domestic animals just serves the purpose of controlling them. If we cannot look after them, why acquire them in the first place?

Sugar Glider Bird
can a sugar glider live in a regular bird cage not really a small one but med. size?
they dont really need alot of floor space but they really do need the height. so a medium cage will be fine just as long as it is a tall cage.

Where did you buy or how did you make your sugar glider cage?
I want a good cage about 2.5 ft wide x 2.5 ft deep and 4 or 5 ft tall that would be easy to clean the sides and bottom…Did you make a unique cage that is perfect for gliders? I found a lot of bird cages but the wire gaps don’t work. Has anyone ever seen mesh cage?

Pig Degu
Guinea pig VS Degu. I would love to know care instructions for both.?
I am considering getting one or the other. I’ve read that they should be housed in a pair, but thats no problem. I would just like information. (i.e. housing, size, behavior, tameness, sociability, nocturnal, playful, diet, basic needs for animals and cage.)
All of that would be helpful to know for each. If its possible, just tell me all you know or suggest some helpful website. Thanks!

Sugar Glider Ferret

Is having my sugar glider and my ferret’s cages on top of my dog’s cage’s a good idea?
My 4 dog’s cages are strung out on the floor, The sugar glider cage over the top of 2 dog cages, and the Ferret cage on top of the other 2 dog cages. Is that a bad idea? Not only for any weight factors, but for the well being of the animals?
I agree with the previous person that it may be risky but not for weight reasons. Cases are pretty study. I would be more concerned about “sense of personal space” and how secure the animals feel. We keep our ferret cage next to our dogs’ cages, but we have our dogs’ cages stacked (we use vari-kennels which stack nicely). I don’t know as much about sugar glidders, but they are sensitive at all to stimuli or not as social as dogs or ferrets then I’d definitely try giving them space not on top of the dog crates. I understand that it’s hard to find space for all those crates, though!

Rat Cages
Rat Cages???!!!?
Well I maybe getting 2 female rats after the summer, but I’m not sure what cage to buy. I don’t want it to be to small cuz I am going to get 2, but I don’t want it to be to much money. I have enough money to buy everything, but I have to buy food, water bottle, bowl, toys, wheel, and ect. and I don’t want to spend all the money on the cage. Can you give me some pics of some rat cages. Thanks!!!!!!
Buy an aquarium. I’ve used aquarium’s for my rats before (and still do) and it works just fine. But remember to buy a metal cover and clips (to hold down the cover; your rats will try to escape, trust me.) Also rats don’t use wheels, mice do.

Pet Cage

How much is this type of pet “cage” worth? See more info…?
We’re buying a new house and the previous owners left a “fence/cage” type item in the back yard. We don’t have pets, so we want to sell it…
The fencing is 6 feet tall and there are 4 parts, each 12 feet long… so it creates a 12 x 12 square in the back yard. Very good quality with a door that swings open and latches.
How much would something like this cost if you bought it in the store?

Chinchilla Natural

What plants are found in a chinchillas natural enviroment?
I have some pet chinchillas and would like to make a more natural enviroment for them. I would also like to do the same with my hedgehog and degus. but Chinchillas are most important
Chinchillas do not have “plants” in their natural environment. They are native to the Andes mountains of Chili and actually have been documented to live above the snow line! The best “natural” environment for your chinchilla’s cage is one that includes chinchilla-safe wood branches. (www.chincare.com or www.etc-etc.com/chin.htm are good resources, but your best bet is to find an experience vet who is knowledgeable about chinchillas- consult a vet school who deals with exotics and works with chins if you can’t find a vet)!

Promotion of goods is what companies do when it comes to market. Innovative thoughts forever help impulsion their goods into customers subconscious Pepsi is a seamless example of a crowd that expected to souk their outcome uniquely. This was done with them receiving the most standard vogue designer in Japan, Nigo, to shape a set of narrow copy Pepsi’s. The combination of the two could only vanguard to great equipment, from a marketing perspective. You were obliged to have sales, better consumer awareness and popularity for both harvest.
Nigo is a renowned and well hunted after frame designer from Japan. He is the architect of the prevalent Bathing Ape / BAPE

Sugar gliders make great pets. Not only are the exotic-making them the envy of other pet owners – they are also very gathering. Sugar gliders are known to branch very well with their owners, and you will very regularly find the sweetie gliders comfortably squeezed in the owners sack or bonding pouch.
Nevertheless what are these darling glitters anyhow, and why do they make great pets. Here are a few proof on the baby glider that should seizure the few heads towards their way.
The honey glider: cute, exotic, open Sugar gliders are marsupials. When they are born, they reside in the pouch of their mothers since they are still very immature and unripe to go out on their own. They have pantagium, or a casing that stretches from their ankles up to their wrists. The acts as their gliders, portion them dive from ranking sphere to tree offshoot.
These pantagium, are furry and elastic, allowing the darling glider traffic like normal marsupials. Also they have rival thumbs which they use to grab onto trunks and kindling. Their other fingers are worn for grooming.
