Camo Sugar

Your fiancé has made it clear: he doesn’t like pink, and won’t be caught wearing it. Or lavender, or any other Easter chick color. As for you, you’re not wild about the camo pattern overlays he half-jokingly proposed in response. So what to do?
For some couples, the answer is a color scheme with a distinctly non-frilly feel. Sometimes, it’s masculine … and sometimes, a really modern vibe that’s satisfyingly androgynous. Here’s a sampler of popular palettes that will definitely look fresh in the year ahead, and won’t afflict your fiancé with sugar shock.

Chinchilla Rabbit

In much of the world where winters can be harsh and the prevailing winds send a chill down the back of the neck…warm fur scarves are almost a must.
Although scarfs can be found in wool, cotton, pashmina, silk, cashmere or some other knitted fabrics, there is no denying that the warmest option would probably be a fur. After all, these soft, cozy garments have been popular for centuries in most countries of the world. Even throughout history where the climates were fairly warm, these “fashion” statements were a symbol of wealth and prosperity worn by royalty and the wealthy.
The nice thing about a scarf, cape, coat or stole is that they are warm as well as stylish. They look almost regal and majestic. Worn with an overcoat or sweater, they add an extra touch of elegance. They can be thrown over the shoulder and wrapped once or twice around the neck or they can be brought around the neck from behind and tied once to hang loosely in front. They can even just be thrown over one shoulder in their most basic way to wear them. Either way their worn…the person wearing it will be noticed.
These fashion statements are most commonly made from mink, but can be made from other types such as fox, beaver, sable, otter, chinchilla, rabbit or even bear. Many garments made today are fake (faux) and are almost just as comfortable as the real thing. The faux or the real, come in all sorts of colors including black, brown, grey, reddish brown, white and many shades in between.

Small parasitic insects that live in the ear canal of an animal, and that are able to survive outside the ear for only very short periods of time.
Ear mites are extremely contagious. They can be passed from the mother animal to her offspring. Additionally, the mites are easily spread to other pets within the household including cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, mice, ferrets, etc. Humans are not affected.
There are numerous products available for ear mite eradication. Most older and over-the-counter products contain insecticides which do not kill incubating mite eggs. Because of this limitation, such products must be used for at least the duration of the 21 day life cycle of the mite. Some specialists recommend a 30 day treatment course with such products.
A veterinarian can be fairly sure that a cat has ear mites if the cat is young, its ears are full of the wax described above, and the insides of its ears have an unpleasant odor. However, to confirm the diagnosis, your vet will probably inspect the inside of your cat’s ears with a magnifying otoscope or visualization with the aid of a microscope. The warmth from the light of an otoscope draws the mites out from the ear wax and causes them to move about on the dark surface of the wax where they’re relatively easy to spot.

Chinchilla Natural Healthy

There are dog people and there are cat people. If you’re a dog person, well this article really isn’t for you. However if you’re the type that loves cats you really need to look into one of the most beautiful breeds out there and that is the Persian. This is a very popular breed and one you should consider if looking to get your very own feline.
Known as one of the most attractive, adorable, and interesting breeds of cats, Persian cats make great pets because of their ability to adjust to an indoor environment. With unique characteristics such as big eyes, wide heads, and thick fur, people can identify them more easily from other cat breeds. Because of their thick fur, pet owners need to wash, clean, and brush these cute little creatures regularly.
Compared to other breeds of cats, pet owners love Persians for their gentle and relaxed appeal, which makes them a perfect pet especially for children. Another advantage of owning such cats is their natural inclination to stay indoors, making them suitable pets even for busy people who are always in and out of their house. Their thick coats make them extremely lovable and very nice to cuddle.

how do you make a scared sugar glider bond with you?
i have a sugar glider and shes afraid of me i got her like 3 days ago and i no it takes time for them to get use to you but still she should atleast not be that afraid of me i take her out everday does anyone got any tips?
A sugar glider need about 48 hours to be in their age NOT TOUCHED before being handled when you first bring them home… after that, you should SPEAK SOFTLY, pet them while tehy are distracted by the fact that they are EATING, take the sleeping pouch out during the day while they are asleep and WEAR IT on you for several hours while occasionally petting THROUGH THE FLEECE to get them used to your scent and touch, and then start offerring LICKY TREATS (like a dab of yogurt or applesauce on your finger tip… it helps to try a liccky treat on the back of your hand, also… they go for teh treat and climb on your hand to get there and learn to associate your hand with good things but they can;t bite your fingers while they do it this way!

Stop the alfalfa since he likes it better he wont eat the timothy hay so stop the other & it will eat it better i’ve been through this because i have Guinea Pigs & had to change them to timothy hay. Sometimes picky eating habits can often be traced to dental problems if you’re sure it isn’t that then just try the other & good luck…

pine cones are good for chewing. they also sell those at pet stores but you can find one outside. ummm cardboard boxes are fun. u can cut out a little door to make a house or cut 2 ends out. my bunny will race through it and likes to jump on top of it. if you have a cat, cat toys will keep them entertained. empty milk cartons are fun for tossing and chewing. empty toilet rolls as already mentioned. a ball of some sort (volley ball, soccer ball). i’ll probaly add more later as i think….

Any livestock sales or feeing operation such as farms, ranches, and AFOs knows that keeping livestock comfortable, clean, and well-fed with not only enough hay or straw but the best nutritional quality hay or straw, is the way to generate higher quality livestock. So higher quality hay, straw, and wood shavings equals higher quality livestock, which equals more profits and a more successful business!
Many sales and feeding operations produce their own hay, straw, or wood shavings. Tim Cross, a Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Tennessee, points out in his report “Should I Buy Hay?” that sometimes you can save more money by producing your own hay, straw, and wood shavings. However, his data indicates that it’s a fine line between saving money with self-production of hay, straw, and woods shavings and self-production being more expensive than the purchase price when you take into consideration the amount of livestock and land you have.
The labor and machinery costs involved in producing your own hay, straw, and wood shavings also easily contribute to the overall high cost of self-production. More often than not, it really is just cheaper and easier for you to buy hay, straw, and wood shavings in bulk and turn your attentions to the more practical needs of your livestock operation.

Rabbits Guinea
More about my rabbits and guinea pig?
My 2 rabbits and 1 guinea pig are actually a happy family already. I have a beautiful picture of them all snuggling up together. My questions was more of a concern for the finches or if the bird dropping would be harmful to the rabbits/guinea pig? If I raised the floor I would provide somewhere for them to get off the wire and an area of dirt for them to still dig around in?
You need to take the Guinea Pigs out! It is dangerous! But if you won’t do that, then at least take off the wire. A common disease for Guinea Pigs is Bumble-feet, where their feet get swollen and sore. It is caused by them walking on materials like wire.
The bird droppings probably won’t harm them. But once again, the guinea pigs are probably scared to death by the birds. If they can see them, they should not be out there. Please take in my advice and either separate them or make it a guinea-safe environment. The rabbits could hurt them on accident or just kick them. Please do something.

Rat Cage Cages

Is there any problem with getting a bird cage for a rat?
So, I went to PetCo and Petsmart today and found a good quality bird cage for much less than a ‘small animal’ cage. My question is, if I take out the grate on the bottom and secure the easy-sliding side doors to the cage with wire so the rats can’t open them, can I substitute this cage for a rat cage?
I’m planning on putting in ledges and landings and such around the cage so the rats have a smaller chance of falling as well.
A cage is a cage. You can use it just fine as you describe. As long as the animal is confined you can put whatever you wish in a “Bird” cage.

Mouse Small

Technology has advanced so much today that what we use to think of as revolutionary and cutting edge technology is soon old news within months! It’s hard to keep up with new gadgets; the moment you purchase something that is hot off the factory line, it’s already considered old news. There are certain areas of technology where new advances are celebrated, like speed and functionality and then there are parts of new technology like size and design that you wish would go further than basic functionality.
The Computer Mouse The computer mouse has definitely seen dramatic changes but even after 40 years, it oddly looks much like it did when it was first created. Some of the different models include the ever so small <a title=Finger mouse at Cirque! Href=http://www.cirque.com/uploads/products/finger_mouse.html>finger mouse</a>, the joystick mouse or the highly successful and least “mouse like” <a title=Touchpad mouse at Cirque! Href=http://www.cirque.com/uploads/products/touch_pad_mouse.html>touchpad mouse</a> for laptops.
Cell Phones If you think back to the way cell phones use to be, they were huge massive blocks of rubber with a battery pack that were very clunky and heavy. Hardly anything that one could put in their jacket pocket. Then of course there was the car phone, a phone that was built into the car that had a cord, needed an antenna and was also big and bulky. Fairly soon afterwards, technology came roaring in with hundreds of different models of cellular phones all with several different features, shapes and sizes and connected via satellite. Cellular phone models now vary from a small hand-held computer, a flashy designer gold to an itsy bitsy phone the size of dental floss.

Chinchilla Cage

How do you build a Chinchilla cage out of a dresser?
I would like to know how to build a Chinchilla cage out of an old dresser? I would like it to be pretty easy.
thanks in advance!
I would say you need to take the doors off and you chicken wire over the front so they can see out of the cage, you will also need to make some sort of access for you to be able to clean.
You will also need to add shelves and things you could hang toys and hammocks on.
Also put some of tray which can slide under a layer of chicken wire on the bottom so the litter is seperated from the chins.

No one wants mold in their house, office, or school. At the very least, mold is smelly and unsightly. Although not all molds are hazardous to human health, it is usually better to remove any mold growth than to leave it to grow and spread. Mold comes in many different colors: black, brown, red, blue, orange, pink, white and green. Mold gives off a musty or earthy smell. Generally mold grows best in humid or wet conditions from many different sources including, but not limited to, a humid environment, flooding, plumbing leaks, sewer backup, leaky windows or doors, washing machine overflow, damp basements, faulty heating/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC) system, and wet carpets. If mold is visible on a surface, a larger contamination may be hidden from view; for example, behind walls or drywall, under carpets, or above ceiling tiles.
Mold can grow back and continue to cause chronic toxins in a home, which is why removal is important to ensure toxigenic mold, otherwise the cause of illnesses in individuals. Thus it is extremely important that any and all products which have been contaminated by the toxic mold be removed and disposed of.
In most circumstances mold can be simply removed from hard surfaces by a thorough cleaning with commercial products (recommended), soap and water, or a weak bleach solution (do not however mix bleach with ammonia since this mixture produces very dangerous fumes). Unfortunately, absorbent or porous materials like ceiling tiles, drywall, and carpet may have to be thrown away if they become moldy because the mold cannot be removed from materials. Or, professionals with mold cleaning experience are also a good alternative. Be sure to check for licensing, certification, and/or experience and training before hiring a mold professional. It is important to properly clean and dry the mold-infected area as an allergic reaction can occur from parts of the dead mold. And remember that mold contamination may reoccur if there is still a source of moisture; therefore, do not keep humidity levels high in a home/office/etc., repair sources of water damage, and exhaust bathrooms and kitchens.
